What this page covers
This notice explains what happens to information you give us through this website — the DV SOFT Healthcare Management product site, run by DV SOFT.
It does not cover the patient and staff records that hospitals keep in the software itself. If your question is about a record like that, please ask the hospital concerned.
What we collect
When you use the contact, demo or quote forms, we collect what you type into them. You do not have to give us anything just to read the site.
- Every form: your name and email address, and — if you fill them in — your phone number, your hospital or organisation, your city and your message. The demo and quote forms ask for your hospital or clinic’s name.
- The demo form also asks what type of facility you run and when suits you for a demo.
- The quote form also asks what type of facility you run, whether you would like us to host the software or run it on your own server, the plan you are considering, when you are looking to start, your number of beds, sites and users, and the modules you are interested in.
- With every submission, we record the IP address it was sent from and when it arrived.
Our web server may also keep routine technical logs of requests, such as the IP address and the page asked for, to keep the site working and secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, demo request or quote request.
- To stop the forms being misused. We keep a record of the email address and IP address used for each submission, and limit how many can be sent from one address in a short time.
Where it is kept and who sees it
What you send is stored on our own systems and read by our team so that we can reply. When a form arrives, a copy of the details may also be emailed to our own team mailbox so that someone sees it promptly.
We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for their own marketing.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, whose name begins with hms_session. It holds a
random identifier that lets us check a form was really sent from this site, which is needed for
the forms to work securely. It expires 2 hours after it is set, and it is not used to
track you or to recognise you on other sites.
No analytics, advertising or third-party scripts
There are no analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and it loads no scripts from anyone else. Everything the pages use — styles, icons and scripts — is served from this site.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Send the request through our contact page.
Changes to this notice
If what this website collects or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
